Beatrice Benavides

Beatrice Morales Benavides of Uvalde passed away July 23, 2018 in Uvalde at Uvalde memorial hospital at the age of 80. She was born on July 29, 1937 in Pearsall to Sotoro and Victoria (Hinojosa) Morales. She married Mr. Oscar Benavides on June 23, 1958 in Pearsall, Texas.
She is survived by her sons; Oscar Benavides Jr. and wife, Lorrie of Castroville, George Benavides and wife, Diane of Uvalde, Eddie Benavides and wife, Sandra of Uvalde; daughters, Adriana Benavides of San Antonio, Abby Vela and husband, Lupe of Uvalde; sister, Maria Rodriguez of Pearsall; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Juan Morales, Paul Morales, Jose Morales and Guadalupe Morales.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing- Estes- Knowles- Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Morales, Mark Benavides, Lupe Vela III, Esteban Benavides, Michael Benavides and George L. Benavides Jr.
