Beatrice Ries

Beatrice C. Ries passed away on January 3, 2009 in Woodbridge Estates Nursing Home in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 76. She was born on August 11, 1932 in Uvalde, Texas to Jose and Juliana Canales. She is survived by two daughters; Dawn McCode-Brooks of Corona, California; and Debbie Ries of Reseda, California; two sisters; Lila Cotton of San Antonio, Texas; and Thelma Weathers and husband, David of Pasedena, Texas; one brother; PilarBob Canales and wife, Lydia of Mercedes, Texas; one grandchild; Dana L. McCode. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother; Joe Bowles Canales. Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 9:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
