Belia Padilla

Belia G. Young Padilla of Uvalde passed away on November 26, 2009 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 77. She was born on April 16, 1932 in Marion, Texas to Roberto and Francisca Young. She married Isabel C.Red Padilla in Crystal City, Texas on September 15, 1952. She is survived by her husband of 57 years; Isabel C.Red Padilla of Uvalde, Texas; daughters; Alicia De Leon and husband Ramon of Batesville, Texas; Leticia Ruiz and husband Ray Jr. of Uvalde, Texas; Melinda Estrada and husband Robert of Uvalde, Texas; sons; Bobby Padilla and wife Laura of Uvalde, Texas; Roy Padilla and wife Susie of Rosenberg, Texas; Isabel Nune Padilla Jr. and wife Rosie of Uvalde, Texas; Larry Y. Padilla and special friend Bonnie Chapa of Uvalde, Texas; sister; Josefina Astran of Seguin, Texas; eighteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter; Oralia Padilla; grandson; Lauro Angel Padilla; four brothers and three sisters. A rosary will be held on Friday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eric Jason Padilla, Robby Padilla, Ray Ruiz, Matthew Padilla, Roy Padilla Jr., Randy Padilla and Jacob Padilla.
