Benancio Trevino

Benancio F. "Ben" Trevino of Uvalde passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 61. Mr. Trevino was born on May 14, 1954 in Uvalde to Lidia (Flores) and Juan P. Trevino. He married Elida Vasquez in Uvalde on January 29, 1971. Mr. Trevino is survived by his wife of 45 years; three daughters, Rebecca Ann Trevino, Elizabeth T. Garcia and Raedena Trevino and fiancé Ruben Urrabazo all of Uvalde; son Ben Trevino II and wife Jessica Julia of Uvalde; two sisters, Alma Jean Dorantes and husband Frank of Beaumont and Alicia Mena and husband Johnny Joe of Uvalde; six brothers, Juan Torres, Jr., Rodolfo Trevino, Oscar Trevino and wife Linda Darr, Richard Trevino and wife Blanca, David Trevino and wife Rosa and Danny Trevino and companion Mary Cantu all of Uvalde; eight grandchildren Jubeali M. Garcia Anthony J. Torres, Matthew L. Torres, Clarissa M. Torres, Ricardo J. Garcia III, Miguel A. Garcia and Marisol B. Tobias; two great grandchildren, Brandon Rey Garcia and Fernando Javier Garcia; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Trevino is preceded in death by his parents, one sister Stella T. Velasquez and two brothers Dionicio Trevino and Ricardo Trevino.
A prayer service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11:00 am at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
