Bernardino Lopez, Jr.

Bernardino V. Lopez, Jr of Uvalde passed away on January 11, 2014 at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at 70 years of age. He was born on July 25, 1943 in Uvalde to Bernardino Lopez, Sr and Esiquina Velasquez Lopez. He is survived by five daughters: Patricia Lopez, Leticia Garcia and husband Fernando, Sr., Anna Lopez and companion Armando Gonzales, Dianna Ramon and husband, Ernest Sr., Belinda Arreola and husband, Jorge,Sr. and by one son, Estevan Lopez and fiance Veronica Luna all of Uvalde. He is also survived by two sisters Nicolasa Rodriguez and husband Joe, Dora Payne and two brothers Roy Lopez and wife Socorro, and Alberto Lopez. Mr. Lopez is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 16 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Mrs. Bernandino Lopez Sr. son,Bernardino Lopez, III brother, Andres Lopez Sr sister, Sylvia Lara and brother in law, Fred Payne. A vigil service will be held on Monday, January 13th at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Samuel Sammy Herrera, Fernando Freddy Garcia, Jr., Eric Trevino, Gabriel Ramon, Jorge Arreola, Jr., and Estevan Lopez, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are Andres Lopez, Jr and Jorge Arreola Sr.
