Bertha Garcia

Bertha Alicia Ruiz Garcia of Uvalde passed away on July 24, 2010 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 50. She was born on January 8, 1960 in Uvalde, Texas to Ascencion D. and Maria Mancha Ruiz. She married Ruben Garcia on September 15, 1979 in Uvalde, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 30 years Ruben Garcia of Uvalde parents Ascencion and Mary Ruiz of Uvalde, Texas four sons Ruben Garcia Jr. and wife, Irma Carlos Garcia Jon Garcia, and Jacob Garcia and friend, Ashley all of Uvalde, Texas one sister Diana Velasquez of Uvalde, Texas one brother Jose Gilberto Ruiz of Uvalde, Texas grandchildren Ruben Garcia III, Skylar Garcia, Lyrik Garcia, Kira Garcia, Kiara Garcia, Derrik Garcia, Aubree Garcia, Carlos Garcia Jr., Shopie Garcia, Estevan Garcia, Xavier Garcia, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers Roberto Ruiz and Ascencion Ruiz Jr. A rosary will be held on Monday and Tuesday at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 28, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Victor Santos, Joe Guzman, Javier Ruiz, Danny DeLuna, Mark Guzman, and Jose Albert Ruiz.
