Bessie Routh

Bessie Lorene Routh of Uvalde passed away on June 8, 2010 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 86. She was born on February 12, 1924 in Bromide, Oklahoma to Jake and Clara Meyer. She married A.M. Routh on November 28, 1939 in Sabinal, Texas. She is survived by two brothers Viril Roy Meyer of Laverne, Oklahoma and Jake Meyer Jr. of Sabinal, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.M. Routh parents three sisters and three brothers. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 10:00 AM in Concan Cemetery. Paul Stephens will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Woody Routh, Bobby Cox, Gene Haynes, Doug Smith Jr., Robert Hicks, and Zac Barfield. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Haynes, Aubrey Haynes, Fred Burns, Jack Haynes, W.C. Haynes, Bo Haynes, Gene Haynes, and David Routh.
