Betty Niggli

Betty Sue King Niggli, long time resident of Concan, Texas died at Amistad Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on January 11, 2010, after a long illness. She was 81. Mrs. Niggli was born September 14, 1928 to Merwin and Minerva King in Starks, LA. She married Edwin Hooper Niggli on June 12, 1965. She was a housewife, mother, office nurse for Dr. Bud Priddy, and a long time election judge for precinct 4 Uvalde County. She is survived by son John Sonny Dunham and wife, Linda of Dequincy, LA three daughters Becky Nelson and husband, Speck Suzan Hilthon and husband, Karl and Debbie Sciba and husband, Jim all of Concan, Texas two sisters Virginia Keller of Uvalde, Texas and Pat Holiday and husband, Gene of Boerne, Texas eight grandchildren seven great grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, Edward Sonny King. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 10:00 AM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel with burial to follow in Rio Frio Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Speck Nelson, Jim Sciba, Don Laffere, Terry Snow, Paul Priddy, and Chris Priddy.
