Bobbie M. Hensarling of Uvalde passed away on February 20, 2012 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 86. She was born on July 31, 1925 in San Antonio to Raymond and Lydia Small Autry. She married William A. Hensarling, Jr. in Uvalde on February 16, 1943. Bobbie was a stained glass artist and owned Glass Creations for over 15 years. She put several stained glass windows in various churches in the Uvalde area. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Stars and the Porcelain Art Society. She was a Sunday School teacher at the First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, William A. Hensarling, Jr. three sons, James L. Hensarling and wife, Barbara of Uvalde Gary A. Hensarling of San Antonio and Robert G. Hensarling and wife, Carrie of Uvalde two granddaughters, Amy Hensarling Carnes and husband, Jimmy and Sarah Hensarling, all of Uvalde three greatgrandchildren, Miller Carnes Jami Carnes and Jodi Carnes and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Autry mother and stepfather, Lydia and Oscar Reitzer and sister, Gloria Candy Mitchell. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Scott will officiate. Pallbearers will be James Hensarling, Gary Hensarling, Robert Cathey, Jimmy Carnes, Ed Beauford and Al Hoerig. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 220 N.
