Bobby Johnson

Bobby Leroy Johnson of Uvalde passed away August 11, 2007 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 71.

He was born December 18, 1935 in Hale Center, Texas to Richard Cornelia Johnson.

He married Gardys Forsyth in Plainview, Tx. on November 2, 1957.

He is survived by his wife, Gardys Johnson of Uvalde, Tx.; daughter, Celia Gardys Fails husband, Jason of Bastrop, Tx.; sons, Gary Bob Johnson of Round Rock, Tx.; Jeffrey Brent Johnson wife, Priscilla of Kodiak, Alaska; sister, Lanell Julian husband, David of Plainview, Tx.; grandchildren, Jeremy Reid; Ashleigh Fails; Devin Fails; Genevieve Johnson Hannah Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive visitors at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 10:30 am at the First United Methodist Church. Rev. Scott Bradford Rev. Rex Forsyth will be officiating.

Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Youth Fund or Building Fund.
