Bonifacio Salas

Bonifacio C. Salas of Uvalde passed away on February 11, 2016 at his residence at the age of 76. He was born on December 2, 1939 in San Antonio to Benigno D. Salas and Silveria Cabrera Salas. He is survived by his wife, Martha Salas of Uvalde; four daughters, Melinda Bajula, Elizabeth Salas-Moss, Imelda P. Salas, and Norma Salas, all of Ft. Worth; three sons, Bonifacio M. Salas of Rosharon; and Rick Salas and Joseph Salas, both of Ft. Worth; sister, Teresa Torres and brother, Ben Salas, both of San Antonio; grandchildren, Stephen Salas; Melissa and Austin Mitchell; Sean and Chad Riley; Kayla Winstead; Bailye, Allison, and Tristan Salas; Michael A. Salas; Nicole and Mia Salas; and Nehemiah Connor-Salas; and stepchildren, Edison Cardona, Kilder Cardona, Milena Martinez, and Jessica Sierra. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and two brothers. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Burial will take place at the Salas Ranch on Friday at 10:00 AM.
