Carlos Cazares of Batesville passed away on January 27, 2020 in San Antonio at the age of 62. He was born on February 18, 1957 in Carrizo Springs to Eluterio and Santos (Macias) Cazares.
He is survived by his mother of Batesville; sisters, Diana C. Correa and husband, Rogelio and Maribel C. Correa all of Batesville; brothers, Eluterio Cazares, Jr, Julian Cazares and wife, Elsa and Fernando Cazares all of Batesville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father and brother-in-law, Dagoberto Correa.
Visitation will begin Friday at 4:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A rosary will be held on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Batesville. Interment will follow at Batesville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Eluterio Cazares, Jr., Fabian Cazares, Jeffery Canales, Levi Correa, Rogelio Correa and Donavan Correa.
