Carlos Diaz Jr.

Carlos Diaz Jr. of Uvalde passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019 in San Antonio at the age of 72.
Carlos was born on May 5, 1946 in Uvalde to Carlos and Amada (De Leon) Diaz. He married Rosario Gomez on September 10, 1967 in Rocksprings.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rosario Diaz of Uvalde; his mother Amada Diaz of Uvalde; four daughters, Lydia D. Martinez and husband Elias Jr. of Uvalde; Annabelia D. Llanes and husband Roy of Sabinal; Erica D. Campuzano and husband Jesse of Crosbyton and Fatima D. Cervantes and husband Jorge of San Antonio; four sons, Jesse De La Rosa and wife Angie of White Hall, Michigan; Paul De La Rosa and partner Vicki Anderson of Muskegon, Michigan; Roger Diaz and wife Irma of San Antonio and Carlos Diaz III and wife Michelle of Sabinal; one sister, Elida Diaz of Uvalde; 21 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Carlos was preceded in death by his father.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 18, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
