Carlos Garcia, Jr.

Carlos Antonio "Bubba" Garcia, Jr. of Uvalde passed away on June 10, 2017 at his residence at the age of 12. He was born on August 27, 2004 in Uvalde.
He is survived by his father, Carlos Ruiz Garcia of Uvalde; paternal grandparents, Ruben and Cynthia Garcia; paternal great grandparents, Ascension and Maria Ruiz; sister, Sophie Ann Garcia; brothers, Estevan Garcia and Xavier Garcia; uncles, Ruben G. Garcia Jr., Jon Ruiz Garcia, and Jacob Garcia; aunts, Irma Garcia and Ashley Salinas, all of Uvalde; and numerous great aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He enjoyed playing tennis for Uvalde CISD and loved playing with his cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Bertha "Licha" Garcia; and great grandparents, Jose and Maria Garcia.
A rosary will be held on Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ruben G Garcia Jr, Ruben G Garcia III, Jacob A Garcia, Jon Ruiz Garcia, Jesse Garcia, Edwardo Sosa. Honorary pallbearers Sergio Ascension Ruiz, Jose Gilberto Ruiz, Angel Miller, Estrella Bustamante and Destiny Gomez.
