Carlos A. Mendez Jr. of Uvalde passed away on April 3, 2008 in Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 50. He was born on November 27, 1957 in Uvalde, Texas to Carlos and Lupe Mendez. He is survived by his wife Charlene Mendez of Uvalde, Texas; one son; Carlos Cobarrubia of Uvalde, Texas; one brother; David Mendez of Uvalde, Texas; numerous cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents. A rosary will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be Monday, April 7, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
