Carlos Rodriguez

Carlos F. Lucho Rodriguez Sr. of Uvalde passed away on February 5, 2008 at his residence in Uvalde. He was born on December 17, 1922 in Uvalde, Texas to Jose and Agapita Rodriguez. He is survived by two daughters; Delia Cruz and husband, Jesse; and Bertha Martinez all of Ingram, Texas; six sons; Carlos Rodriguez Jr. of Wisconsin; Rodolfo Rodriguez and wife, Maggie of Knippa, Texas; Alfredo Rodriguez of Uvalde; Francisco Rodriguez and wife, Rosa of Minnesota; Jimmy Rodriguez and wife, Elsa and Danny Rodriguez all of Uvalde, Texas; two sisters; Maria Rodriguez of Uvalde; and Esperanza Ortiz of Wisconsin; two brothers; Raul Navarro of Uvalde; and Pedro Flores of Wisconsin; 24 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and 6 great- great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Santos Rodriguez; and daughter Alma Hernandez. A rosary will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral Services will be Friday, February 8, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery Father Wieslaw Iwaniec will officiate. Pallbearers will be Carlos Rodriguez, Rodolfo Rodriguez, Alfredo Rodriguez, Jimmy Rodriguez, Danny Rodriguez, and Eddie Hernandez.
