Carmen Hill

Beloved Wife & Mother, Carmen Gomez Hill of Uvalde passed away on June 17, 2020 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 81.  She was born on October 13, 1938 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico to Leopoldo Placencia and Guadalupe Gomez.

She married Rene Brady Hill in Uvalde on July 14, 1962.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years of Uvalde; Sons Rene Hill Jr, children Christian & Dayna Hill, George Hill & wife Martha Hill. Children George, Randy, Michael, Brandon & Tori, daughter, Jeanette Hill and husband, Domingo Delgado, children Katie, David. Kelly & Domingo jr. all of Uvalde; brother, Rodolfo Gomez of Crystal City; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Guadalupe Arredondo, Celia Gomez and Maria Gomez and brothers, Jose Gomez and Leopoldo Gomez, Jr.

Visitation will begin on Sunday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A funeral mass will be held on Monday, June 22, 2020 at 10am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Uvalde Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Husband, Rene Brady Hill, George Hill, George Hill, Jr. Randy Hill, Brandon Hill, Domingo Delgado, Frank Velasquez & Frank Mirelez.
