Carmen Mchazlett

Carmen Prado McHazlett, beloved mother and grandmother to many, took her last breath on this Earth at 6:46 a.m. on Monday, June 10, 2013. Peacefully, the gates of Heaven opened for her to join her beloved lost parents, Fidencio and Josefina Prado, her adored husband Daniel McHazlett Sr., her soninlaw Guadalupe Cortinas, and her little angel, greatgrandson Kevin McHazlett.
Carmen was born in Piedras Niegras, Coahuila, Mexico on December 28, 1926. She lived 86 years and touched many lives.
Left to mourn are her children, Judy Cortinas and Daniel McHazlett Jr. and wife Martha all of Crystal City grandchildren, Manuel David Cortinas and wife Ana, DianaLisa Sulaica and husband Jesus Jr. , Julissa Cortinas and husband Fernando Benavidez, Daniel McHazlett III and wife Veronica, David McHazlett and wife Natasha, Deneen McHazlett, Dawn McHazlett and husband Johnny Joe Villarreal, Dustin McHazlett, Dominic McHazlett and wife Sereena great grandchildren, Andrea Cortinas, Damian Cortinas, Nadia Lisa Sulaica, Bianca Iliana Sulaica, Analisa Gabryella Sulaica, Joseph Isaiah Sulaica, Samantha McHazlett, Daniel McHazlett IV, Sara McHazlett, Robinn Jodacie McHazlett, Danico McHazlett, Ashley McHazlett, Aubrey Marie McHazlett, Aiden McHazlett, Jennifer Balboa, Ray Balboa, Nathaniel Mata, Michael Cuevas, John Paul Villarreal, Angelina Villarreal, Nick Villarreal, James Mathew Villarreal, Steven Daniel Villarreal, Madelyn T. McHazlett, Dustin Jeter McHazlett, Serriah McHazlett, Saydee McHazlett, Saniylee McHazlett greatgreat grandchildren, Danika Mikayla Ayala, Jay Devin Ayala, Jayden Saucedo, Aracelie Saucedo, Rene Saucedo III niece that she raised and loved as her own, Carmen Neri Martinez and husband Raul and son Raul Martinez Jr. Left with the honor of pallbearers are her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, David McHazlett, Dominic McHazlett, Dustin McHazlett, Daniel McHazlett IV, Ray Balboa, Michael Cuevas, Manuel Cortinas, and Damian Cortinas.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. and will be laid to rest eternally next to the love of her life, Daniel Sr., in La Pryor, Texas at the McHazlett Family Plot at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
She will be greatly missed by all. Her love of home and family was her greatest passion.
