Carolyn Ambler

Carolyn Ambler of Carrollton, formerly of Uvalde, passed away on May 27, 2018 in Carrollton. She was born on November 21, 1947 in Uvalde to Fredrick Summerfield Mason and Baby Lea McFadin Mason. She graduated from Uvalde High School and San Angelo State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She taught school for many years and was an extremely loving and caring teacher. Foremost, she was an amazing mother and grandmother. She loved to cook and spend time with her family and pets. She is survived by her daughter, Jade Melton and husband, Eric of Carrollton; grandson, Payton Melton; and her beloved pets, Lucy and Charlie. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Uvalde Cemetery. Rev. Steve Peyton will officiate. Pallbearers will be Vale Rodriguez, Jerry Kirby, Jared Kirby, Randol Kirby, Ryan Kirby, and Sal Armstrong.
