Carolyn Ridout

Carolyn Taylor Ridout of Uvalde passed away on March 15, 2020 in Uvalde at the age of 75. She was born on April 26, 1944 to John and Louise (Smith) Taylor in Los Angeles, California.

Carolyn was a graduate of Eastern New Mexico University.

She met her future husband Rob in 1970 and they married on December 22, 1972.

She is survived by her best friend and husband Robert Ridout of Uvalde; daughter, Amanda Moore and husband, Brian of Fairfield, Texas; son, Robert L. Ridout, Jr. of San Antonio; mother, Louise Taylor of Los Alamos, New Mexico; brother, John Taylor of Los Alamos, New Mexico; sister, Norma Taylor of Santa Fe, New Mexico; grandchildren, Hank Moore, Ava Moore, Summer Wingo, Horace Ridout and Archer Ridout.

She is preceded in death by her father.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
