Casimiro Rios Sr.

Casimiro Rios Sr. of Batesville passed away on May 13, 2009 in his residence at the age of 78. He was born on March 4, 1931 in Batesville, Texas to Julian and Rosa Rios. He married Adelfina Arreola in Batesville in 1959. He is survived by his wife Adelfina A. Rios of Batesville, Texas; seven daughters; Juanita Rios and husband, Feliciano of Carrizo Springs, Texas; Rosario Rios; Marinez Jaramillo and husband, Alfredo; Norma Jean Rios; and Diana Rios all of Batesville, Texas; Martha Luna and husband, Rudy of Andrews,. Texas; and Veronica Valdez and husband, Homero of Mission, Texas; three sons; Raul Rios; Casimiro Rios Jr.; and Richard Rios and wife, Yesenia all of Batesville, Texas; three sisters; Victoria Ramos of Batesville, Texas; Petra Mendez of Florida; and Antonia Esparza of Batesville, Texas; twenty three grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter; Dominga Rios; two sons; Roberto and Pedro Rios. A rosary will be held on Thursday and Friday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Batesville. Burial will follow in Batesville Cemetery.
