Catarina Bermea

Mrs. Catarina G. Bermea, formerly of La Pryor, Tx. passed away March 24, 2007 in Blue Mound, Tx. at the age of 93. She was born December 2, 1913 in Mexico to Jose Guadalupe Garcia.

She is survived by a daughter, Guadalupe Schmerber of Blue Mound, Tx.; sons, Julian Bermea wife, Josephina of Grand Prairie, Tx.; Mario Bermea wife, Diana of McAllen, Tx. Armando Bermea wife, Gloria of San Diego, Ca.; brother, Santos Garcia wife, Josephina of New Deal, Tx.; grandchildren, Pete Schmerber, Jr., Teresa Arredondo, Sonia Morales, Cynthia Schmerber, Michelle Brown, Sadine Salazar, Mario Bermea, Meir Bermea, Cesar Bermea Marisol Bermea; great-grandchildren, Brandi Schmerber, Brandon Schmerber, Andrea Schmerber, Joseph Schmerber, Nadia Schmerber, Eliseo Schmerber, Elena Schmerber, Maricela Schmerber, Sierra Schmerber, Brittany Schmerber, Cason Schmerber Estevan Schmerber; one great-great grandchild, Ashton Burton numerous nieces and nephews.

A rosary will be held on Monday, March 26, 2007 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel.

Services will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at 1:00 pm at St. Josephs Catholic Church in La Pryor. Interment will follow in La Pryor Cemetery. Fr. Pedro Molina will officiate.

Arrangements are by Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
