Catarino Aleman, Jr.

Catarino Aleman, Jr. of Uvalde passed away on February 2, 2018 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 45. He was born on December 13, 1972 in Crystal City to Catarino Aleman, Sr. and Maria Lopez Aleman. He is survived by his parents; brothers, Pete Aleman and Juan Aleman; sister, Maria Ruiz and husband, Ricardo; girlfriend, Norma Chapa; stepsons, Jermane Chapa and Evan Chapa; stepdaughters, Ivy Chapa, Kayla Chapa, Sammy Jo Arellano, Carisma Arellano, and Alexis Arellano, all of Uvalde; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Roberto Aleman. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 11:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ricardo Ruiz, Jr., Jose Angel Ruiz, Miguel Lopez, Jermane Justin Chapa, Daniel Chapa and Joe Blanco.
