Celinda N. Bermea

Celinda N. Bermea, 72, of La Pryor, Texas passed away on February 23, 2024, at her residence. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. 

A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in La Pryor.  Interment will follow at La Pryor Cemetery. 

She was born on April 14, 1951, in Crystal City, Texas to Monica (Pargas) and Guadalupe Najera. 

She married Tinidad U. Bermea, III on December 15, 1973, in La Pryor, Texas.

She is survived by her husband Trinidad U. Bermea III of 50 years; three sons, Trinidad N. Bermea, IV and wife, Tamatha of New Braunfels, Isaac N. Bermea and wife, Annette of La Pryor and Israel Bermea of La Pryor; brother, Jose Guadalupe Najera, Jr. of Alvarado, Texas, sisters, Rosa Ramos and Angie Gonzales of La Pryor, Texas, nine grandchildren, Tatiana Bermea, Mia Lynn Bermea, Julian Bermea, Jamie Bermea, Adriana Bermea, Amaya Bermea, Casey Bermea, Charlotte Bermea, and Camilla Bermea; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Armando Najera and one sister Alicia Mosqueda

Pallbearers will be Julian Bermea, Casey Bermea, Fernando Gonzales, Armando Najera, Joey Mosqueda, Luis Miguel Ramos, Keshawn Paul, and Ezekiel Velasquez
