Charles Mack Porter Sr. passed away on December 26, 2007 in Christus, VNA in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 67. He was born on February 18, 1940 in Brady, Texas to Jack and Bessie Porter. He married Mittie Rogers on June 6, 1975 in Uvalde, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 32 years; step-daughter Shelly Pivoda of Knippa, Texas; sons; James Porter of San Diego, California; Charles M. Porter Jr. of Leggett, California; step-sons; Wally Rainey of Uvalde, Texas; Roy Pivoda; Sam Pivoda, and James Pivoda; all of Knippa, Texas; 5 sisters; 1 brother; 11 grandchildren, Dylan Rainey of Dripping Springs; Emily Pivoda, of Denton; Tammie Sinclair of San Antonio; Brandy Porter and Charles Mack Porter III of Leggett, California; Tiffany, Taylor, Tory, and Tanner Pivoda all of Knippa, Texas; Charlie Ann Pivoda, of Boerne, Texas; and Jennifer Porter of Kentucky; 1 great-grandchild; Aden Sinclair of San Antonio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary, Inc.
