Charles Roberts

Charles Chubby Roberts of Uvalde passed away on March 19, 2010 in his residence at age of 70. He was born on July 4, 1939 in Uvalde, Texas to Charles and Roberta Roberts. He married Sallie Cox in Uvalde on September 21, 1975. Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife of 34 years Sallie C. Roberts of Uvalde daughter Joy Martin and husband Tim of North Carolina son Jerry Roberts and wife Leesa of San Antonio, Texas brother Bobby Roberts of Uvalde, Texas seven grandchildren Brittney Martin, Danielle Martin, Hunter Martin, Walker Martin, Rowdy Roberts, Dustin Roberts and Colton Roberts numerous nieces, nephews and family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Carrie Ellen Bailey and brother A.J. Roberts. Funeral services for Mr. Roberts will be held on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 3:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Brother Carroll Vernor Jr will be conducting the service. Pallbearers will be John Morey, Mark Roberts, Forrest Roberts, Mark Cox, Milas Williams and Ryan Cox. Honorary pallbearers are Glen Roberts and Clay Bailey.
