Charles Denney Robinson passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 3, 2011 at the Medical Center of Arlington in Arlington, TX at the age of 47. He was born in Uvalde on August 2, 1964. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Teresa Scott Robinson of Arlington. They were married on August 3, 1985. He is also survived by his parents, Charles and Ann Robinson of Uvalde daughter, Krista Robinson of Uvalde son, Chad Robinson of Arlington and granddaughter, Faith Mackenzie. He was preceded in death by a sister, Charla Robinson. Denney was a graduate of Uvalde High School, and he attended SWTJC and Cedar Valley Community College in Lancaster, TX. He was employed by IEC Industrial Electronic Company of Arlington as Warehouse ManagerInventory Control Specialist. Having suffered from the debilitating disease, diabetes, since he was 11 years old, he underwent double transplant surgery in 2002, receiving a kidney from an unknown donor. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 10:00 AM in Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Scott will officiate. A memorial service will be held at St. Barnabas United Methodist Church in Arlington at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6:008:00 PM on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Honorary pallbearers will be David and Angela Dugauy David Ickert Randy Ickert Rick Ickert Jimmy Carnes Bob ODaniel Ed Scott Jimmy Trees and Bill Robinson. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Diabetes Association.
