Cipriano Padilla

Cipriano Porto Padilla of Uvalde passed away on December 8, 2018 in San Antonio at the age of 81. He was born on June 9, 1937 in Crystal City, Texas to Jose H. Padilla and Lucia Maria Rosario Porto.
He married Victoriana Salinas in Uvalde in 1983.
He is survived by his wife, of Uvalde of 35 years; daughters, Victoria Candela and husband, Luis Alvarado of Uvalde, Lucy Castillo and husband, Albert, Mary Martinez and husband, Benjamin, Sara Gallegos, Jane Castillo and husband, Vanicio all of San Antonio, Blanca Cantu of Glenn Rose; sons, George Padilla of San Antonio, Manuel Fuentes of Uvalde, Jose Fuentes of San Antonio; sisters, Irene Cruz, Pauline LaPas, Flora Aguilar, Lucia Gutierrez, and Esmeralda Rosales all of San Antonio; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Fidel Padilla, Ermiliano Padilla and Jose Padilla.
A rosary will be held on Monday and Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
Pallbearers will be Adam Martinez, Jasmine Macia, Gary Gauna, Gerardo Hernandez, Jose Salinas and Luis Alvarado
