Cirildo L. "Chilo" Luna of Batesville passed away on January 14, 2015 at his residence at the age of 76. He was born on July 9, 1938 in Raymondville, TX to Gilberto and Joaquina (Luera) Luna. He married Ernestina Rios in Batesville on November 4, 1962. He is survived by his wife of 52 years of Batesville; daughters, Anna Belia Maldonado and companion, Fernando Mata of Uvalde, Dora Elia Luna of Odessa and Norma L. Campbell and husband Corey of Batesville; sons, Cirildo Luna Jr. and wife Thelma of Odessa, Ricardo Luna of Batesville and Jose G. Luna and wife Ebony of San Antonio; sister, Eufemia Rios of Andrews; brother, Juan Luna of Batesville; 16 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 5 brothers. A rosary will be held on Thursday and Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Batesville. Burial will follow at Batesville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Corey Campbell, Jose Luna, Carlos Ruiz, Miguel Maldonado, Brandon Luna, Marcos Luna, and Gustavo Maldonado
