Claudia Louise (Robinson) Trees was born into this world at 4 a.m. the morning of February 19, 1928, to proud parents, John Raymond Robinson and Willie Lee (Parker) Robinson, in Franklin, Robertson Country, Texas. She was also welcomed by their first born child, William James.
She exited this world to meet her lord and savior Jesus Christ on February 6, 2021, 13 days short of her 93rd birthday.
Formerly of La Pryor, she had been a resident of Orange Grove, Texas, for the past 10 years before coming to Uvalde Amistad Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
The family moved to La Pryor in 1945 and Claudia graduated from La Pryor High School in 1946. She would marry Everett Joe Trees on August 24, 1946, in Laredo at the home of Joe’s brother, Walter, a marriage that would last for 52 years and 6 months, until Joe’s death on February 4, 1999.
In addition to her parents, Claudia was preceded in death by brothers, William James “Jack”, Ray, Lee Curry and Roy Robinson, as well as sister, Nancy Garison.
She leaves behind a son, Lewis James “Jimmy” Trees and wife, Gracie, of Orange Grover, grandson, Kobe Joe Trees and wife, Mary, and great-grandson, Ollie, of Ingleside, Texas. She is also survived by one brother, Charles and wife, Ann, of Uvalde. Claudia is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends in the places she called home, La pryor, Nueces Canyon, Brackettville, Eagle Pass, Crystal City and Orange Grove.
A funeral service will be held Friday, February 12, 2021, at 3 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Interment will follow at La Pryor Cemetery.
