Connie Armbruster

Connie Conner Armbruster of Uvalde passed away on August 12, 2017 at the age of 82 at the Val Verde Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Armbruster was born on March 13, 1935 in Luling, Texas to Jalett Conner and Gypsie Rea Mitcheltree. She married Ronald Cleve Armbruster on August 27, 1953 in Buda, Texas.
Mrs. Armbruster is survived by her son Kelly Armbruster and wife, Mary of La Vernia; daughter Kim Hodges and husband, John of Uvalde; grandchildren Bonner and Samantha Armbruster, Cody Armbruster, David Kleinecke, Tiffany and Justin Blazek, Kristin and Jon Scarborough, Sara and Josh Schoenfeldt, and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Judy Powell and Jim of Montgomery, Texas, Karry Kay and Roger Matson of Georgetown, Texas, J.D. (Putt) and Jill Thompson of Crow Agency, Montana, Clay and Bonnie Thompson of Wentzville, Missouri, and sister-in-law Maureen Conner of San Antonio.
Mrs. Armbruster was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Toby Conner.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Uvalde Visual Art League.
Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
