Consuelo Flores

Consuelo Najera Flores of Uvalde passed away on Saturday April 21, 2012 in San Antonio at the age of 72. She was born on January 30, 1940 in La Pryor, Texas to Zaragoza and Graciela Flores Najera. She is survived by her daughters, Elia F. Zamarripa, Yolanda Flores both of Uvalde, Gloria Marin, Nancy Flores both of Austin, Susie Ledesma and husband Joe of Louisiana, son, Jesse Martin Flores and wife Lupita of Uvalde, sisters, Esperanza N. Velasquez of Idaho and Rosa Molina of Bonham, Texas, brothers, Manuel Z. Najera of Uvalde, Zaragosa Zach Najera of Ft. Worth, Texas, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Martin C. Flores, brother, Ruben Najera, soninlaw Camilo Zamarripa and granddaughter, Dominika Flores. A rosary will be held on Tuesday April 24, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raul Torres III, Juan Martin Zamarripa, Jesse Estrada, Joey Ledesma, Adolfo Polanco Flores, Felipe Najera Jr., Annie Talamentez, Joel Perez Jr., Polo Hernandez and Martin Hernandez. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Ledesma and Fernando Zavala.
