Consuelo Navejar

Consuelo Chelito Navejar of Uvalde passed away on August 9, 2013 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 89. She was born on August 22, 1923 in Uvalde to Jesus and Petra Ortiz Navejar. She is survived by her sisters Mary Navejar of Uvalde and Elida Benavides of Corpus Christi brother, Luis Navejar of Uvalde, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Leonor Navejar brothers, Alejos Navejar, Gilberto Navejar and Raul Navejar. A rosary will be held on Friday, August 09, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Narvaez, Justin Narvaez, Remijio Velasquez, Robert Estrada and Michael Navejar.
