Consuelo Silvas

Consuelo Silvas of Uvalde passed away on March 2, 2011 in Northeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 79. She was born on September 4, 1931 in Durango, Mexico to Manuel and Viviana Martinez Marquez. She is survived by her mother Viviana M. Marquez of Uvalde, Texas one sister Savina Marquez of Uvalde, Texas two brothers Simon Marquez and wife, Victoria of Uvalde, Texas and Aristeo Marquez and wife, Anselma of Chicago, Illinois numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father sister Desideria M. Sanchez. A rosary will be held on Friday at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 5, 2011 at 9:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
