Consuelo Vasquez

Consuelo P. Vasquez of Batesville passed away on March 8, 2011 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 84. She was born on September 9, 1926 in Pearsall, Texas to Pascual and Anastacia Vargas Peralta. She is survived by seven daughters Yolanda Lopez and husband, Serafin Delma Martinez and husband, Jose Angel Galindo Linda Moreno and husband, Rogelio all of Batesville, Texas Maria Luisa Ramos and husband, Ramiro of Quitaque Beatriz Velasquez and husband, Elias Gloria Rios and husband, Jesus all of Uvalde, Texas and Nora Quijano and husband, Jose of La Pryor, Texas three sons Hector Vasquez and wife, Paula Cazarez of Batesville, Texas Armando Vasquez of Lubbock, Texas and Refugio Vasquez of Shallow Water, Texas fiftyeight grandchildren one hundred and fiftysix great grandchildren sixteen greatgreat grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents husband, Refugio Vasquez four sons Ventura Vasquez, Robert Vasquez, Oscar Vasquez, and Paul Vasquez. A rosary will be held on Wednesday at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 10, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Patricks Catholic Church with burial to follow in Batesville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jesse Martinez, Hector Vasquez Jr. Ramiro Ramos Jr., Edward Rios, Elias Velasquez Jr., Abel Vasquez, Lauro Vasquez, and Rogelio Moreno Jr.
