Crescencia Ramirez

Crescencia Rodriguez de Ramirez of Uvalde passed away on October 7, 2014 at Uvalde Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 78. She was born on July 4, 1936 in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico to Nemesio Rodriguez and Dolores Gutierrez. She married Lorenzo Ramirez Alvarez on July 24, 1955 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. She is survived by her husband of 59 years daughters, Francisca Hernandez and husband Andres, Hortencia Cardenas and husband Oscar, Norma Leticia Jimenez and husband Johnny all of Uvalde,Texas, and Maria Suarez and husband Sergio of San Antonio, Texas sons, Jesus Alfonso Ramirez and wife Maricela of Uvalde,Texas, Lorenzo Ramirez Jr. and wife Elsa of Blessing,Texas and Rolando Ramirez and wife Edna of Midfield, Texas sister, Maria Antonia Rodriguez de Beza of San Antonio brother, Manuel Rodriguez Gutierrez of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico 28 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents twins, Martha Patricia Ramirez and Javier Ramirez sisters, Esperanza Dunez, Juanita Rodriguez, Elvira Rodriguez brothers, Blas Rodriguez, Prajedez Rodriguez and Refugio Rodriguez. A rosary will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jesus Alfonso Ramirez, Lorenzo Ramirez Jr., Rolando Ramirez, Oscar Cardenas III, Andres Hernandez Jr., Jesus Alfonso Ramirez Jr., Manuel Rodriguez and Nancy Janette Garza.
