Cruz Campos

Cruz Campos of Batesville passed away on December 3, 2017 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 85. He was born on May 3, 1932 in Ezequiel Montes Qtr., Mexico to Reyes Martinez and Maria De La Luz Martinez.
He is survived by his daughters, Norma Luna and husband, Robert of Andrews and Elvia Galindo of Batesville; sons, Jaime Campos and wife, Alamar, Abel Campos and wife, Norma, Noe Campos and wife, Francisca and Guillermo Campos and wife, Maria all of Batesville; sisters, Isabel Olvera, Librada Martinez Vega all of Ezequiel Montes Qtr.; brothers, Guillermo Martinez and Bernardo Martinez both of Ezequiel Montes Qtr.; 18 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Teodosa Campos, and granddaughter, Marissa Luna.
Pallbearers will be Abel Campos Purdy, Andrew Campos Purdy, Matthew Purdy, Calistro Joaquin Luna, Christian Campos, Adriano Campos, Enrique Galindo, Edward Galindo and Aiden Cantu.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Batesville. Burial will follow at Batesville Cemetery.
