Cruz Moreno

Mr. Cruz R. Moreno of Uvalde passed away on October 4, 2009 at his residence at the age of 62. He was born on September 20, 1947 in Uvalde to Aurelio Moreno, Sr. and Antonia Rodriguez. He married Olga Garcia on February 26, 1970 in Uvalde. He is survived by his wife of 39 years; two daughters, Connie Trevino and Monica Rodriguez, both of Uvalde; a son, Willie Moreno and wife, Melenie of Uvalde; two sisters, Gloria Tobias and Reyna Tobias, both of San Jose, CA; brother, Aurelio R. Moreno, Jr. of Uvalde; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by is parents; a son, Cano Moreno; three brothers, Jesse, Jose, and Juan Moreno; and a sister, Reyes Moreno. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will beheld on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
