Dale Matlock

Martha Delores Dale Matlock of Uvalde passed away on May 31, 2014 at her residence at the age of 73. She was born on March 1, 1941 in Francitas, TX to Cecil and Rosa Lea Reese Bowen. She married Dean Matlock in Eagle Lake, TX in 1979. She is survived by her husband of 35 years three daughters, Zhanell Burch and husband, Eddy of Dayton, TX Sheila Irwin and husband, Randy of Brazoria, TX and Teresa Sterling of Thompsons Station, TN son, Franklin Woody Matlock of Uvalde five sisters, Laverne Green, Connie Kasper, Iris Jean Tenney all of Texas Wanda Lea Tindel of Florida and Wyonna Bowen of Louisiana brother, Kenneth Bowen, and triplet brothers, Larry, James, and Virgil Bowen and numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Bonnie Jackson and Donna Kay Wilbeck brother, Ronnie Bowen and stepfather, Tommy Tumlinson. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Reagan Wells Baptist Church with burial to follow in Heard Cemetery. Rev. Robert Garland will officiate. Pallbearers will be Eddy Burch, Randy Irwin, Kenneth Flowers, Woody Matlock, Greg Miller, and C.J. Johnson.
