Dan Haby, Sr.

Dan William Haby, Sr. of Uvalde passed away on January 12, 2013 in San Antonio at the age of 72. He was born on July 20, 1940 in Rio Frio, TX to Arnett and Ruth Wallis Haby. He married Patricia Hutcherson on July 20, 1961 in Hondo. He is survived by his wife of 51 years two son, Dan William Haby, Jr. and wife, Melanie of Alvarado, TX and Joe Tom Haby and wife, Jennifer of Uvalde sister, Betty Johnson of Castroville brother, Jim Smith and wife, Debbie of Alvarado, TX two grandchildren, Parker and Hiler Haby and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents stepfather, Tommy Smith brother, J.L. Haby and sister, Patsy Jean Wilson. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Baptist Temple. Cremation was under the direction of RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary.
