Davaughn D John Rodriguez of Uvalde passed away at Uvalde Memorial Hospital on Sunday December 11, 2011 at the age of 4. He was born on June 11, 2007 in San Marcos to Dion Rodriguez and Sabrina Vielma. He is survived by his parents, sister, Tiarrah Esparza, brother, Christopher Gabriel Negrete, maternal grandparents, Juan and Frances Garcia, paternal grandmother, Cindy Rodriguez, maternal great grandmother, Linda Reyes, maternal greatgreat grandmothers, Teresa Reyes and Dolores Garcia, paternal great grandmother, Rosalinda Garcia all of Uvalde, aunts and uncles, Christina Garcia and Abe Chapa, Crystal Garcia, Jacob Vielma and Monica Hernandez, Keisha Rodriguez, , Israel Rodriguez, Joshua Rodriguez and John Rodriguez, great aunt Bobbie and husband Jorge Gonzales, great uncles, Dennis and wife Jo Ann Vela, Richard and wife Veva Vela and Frankie and wife Sandra Vela and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather Gilbert Garcia and cousin, Zoe Madison Chapa. A rosary will be held on Wednesday December 14, 2011 at the Rushing Estes Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday December 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob Vielma, Dion Rodriguez, Chuck Rodriguez, and Juan Garcia Jr.
