David Garison, Jr.

David S. Garison, Jr. of Zapata, formerly of La Pryor, passed away on February 25, 2015 in Laredo at the age of 87. He was born on July 27, 1927 in Palacios, TX to David S. Garison, Sr. and Anna B. Bridgeforth Garison. He married Nancy Lucille Robinson in Uvalde in 1950. He is survived by his wife of 64 years; three daughters, Patricia Ann Roberts of Lockhart, TX; Gale Braune of Zapata, TX; and Mary Sue Garison of Corpus Christi, TX; brother, Jack W. Garison of San Antonio, TX; three grandchildren, Darrel Roberts and David Roberts, both of Lockhart; and Destiny Andrews of Buda, TX; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Mary Leon Howard and Elma Rose Grizzle. Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 10:00 AM in La Pryor Cemetery. Mr. Paul Stephens will officiate.
