David Martinez

David C. Martinez of Uvalde passed away on November 30, 2017 at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 44. He was born on July 29, 1973 in Uvalde to Maria E. "Tita" Martinez.
He is survived by his mother of Uvalde; wife, Kelsie Paradeaux of Uvalde; daughter, Leslie Martinez of Carrizo Springs, sons, David Martinez, Jr. and Jace Martinez both of Uvalde; sister, Nancy Heintzelman and husband Jarod of Knippa; 4 grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Epifana Cruz Martinez, great maternal grandparents, Pablo and Leandra Cruz and aunt, Alice Castro.
A rosary will be held on Sunday and Monday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Uvalde Catholic Cemetery.
