It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beautiful and remarkable son of God, David Adrian Mata, on June 7, 2024. He leaves his beloved parents David and Rita Mata , son Mathew, brother, sister, in-laws, along with several nephews and nieces.
Adrian had a strong Catholic faith, and shared God’s gifts through his actions, selflessly. The Mata family prays that you celebrate the wonderful blessing Adrian was by sharing all of the beautiful memories of him with their family, and with those you cherish.
The Mata Family will be hosting funeral visitation services at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary, (220 South Getty Street, 78801) on the following days:
Sat. 6/15, 3-7 pm ; Sun. 6/16, 2-7 pm; Mon. 6/17, 12-7 pm (Rosary will start promptly at 6 pm)
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Uvalde, Texas.
The Rite of Committal and burial will immediately follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
The Funeral Luncheon will be hosted at 12:30 p.m. at American Legion Post 479, located at 583 West Main Street, Uvalde, Texas 78801.
