David Santos Jr.

David Santos Jr. of Uvalde passed away on July 30, 2012 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 67. He was born on September 28, 1944 in Uvalde to David and Aurora Gonzales Santos. He married Lupe Cardenas on May 13, 1967 in Uvalde. He is survived by his wife of 45 years mother, Aurora Gonzales Santos of Uvalde daughters, Sandra Benavides and husband Eddie of Uvalde, Debbie Villafranco of Del Rio, Joann Santos of Uvalde sons, David Charles Santos and companion Olga Melendez of Uvalde brother, Richard Santos and wife Cindy of Alice grandchildren, Esteban Benavides, Mark Villafranco, Audrey Villafranco, Mike Nguyen and Niko Santos greatgranddaughter, Madilynn Sophia Nguyen, aunt, Gloria Mata and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday August 1, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eddie Benavides, Esteban J. Benavides, Mark Villafranco, Michael C. Nguyen, Paul Anthony Escobedo and Humberto Buentello Jr.
