Deborah "Debbie" Reyna

Debbie Reyna of Uvalde passed away on January 18, 2023 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 66.

She was born on March 22, 1956, in Uvalde to Gloria (Juarez) and Genaro G. Uriegas.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Reyna, Jr. of Uvalde; three daughters, Debbie Yvonne Reyna and husband, William Newby of Copperas Cove, Danielle Reyna of Uvalde, and Dannitra Reyna of Uvalde; sisters, Anita Gutierrez of Uvalde, Cynthia Garza of Uvalde, and Katheryn Padero of San Antonio; brothers, Genaro Uriegas, Jr. of San Antonio and Henry Ray Uriegas of Uvalde; six grandchildren, Pablo Contreras, Raven Mariscal, Alejandra Contreras, Dos Mariscal, Angel Reyna, and Alexzander Arredondo.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Margarita Lira and Patricia Ann Arredondo.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 1 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Emilio Garza, III, Jesse Gutierrez, Steven Lira, Mario Reyna, Mark Hernandez, and Johnny Rodriguez.
