Delfina Arriola

Mrs. Delfina Arriola, age 83, of Uvalde passed away on Monday, May 01, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Sabinal on April 11, 1934 to Leon and Paulita (Borrego) Musquiz. Mrs. Arriola is survived by her daughter Lucy Rodriguez of Uvalde; sister, Nena Sheppard of Uvalde; brother, Leandro Musquiz of Uvalde; grandchildren Alfonso Munoz and wife Cristina, Cristy Munoz, Melissa Castillo, Amanda Martinez and husband Jon, Tiffany Rodriguez and companion Devin Adams and Vanessa Rodriguez and companion Zachary Vasquez; numerous great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Felipa Mata and Cecilia Pena; four brothers, Macario Musquiz, Agustin Musquiz, Manuel Musquiz and Evaristo Musquiz.
A prayer service will be held Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary with interment in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Alfonso Munoz, Oscar Musquiz, Manuel Musquiz, Jr., Rick Pena, Juan Pena, Xavier Ybarra, Arturo Ybarra and Conrad Ybarra Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Jeremiah Munoz and Aaron Munoz.
