Delia Juarez Aguirre, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Uvalde on February 18, 2025, at the age of 75.

Born on July 2, 1949, in Uvalde, Texas, Delia was a vibrant and nurturing soul whose dedication to her family and community left an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Delia dedicated years of service to education, working at El Progresso, SWTJC Library, and as a teacher’s aide for 25 years at Dalton Elementary alongside Mrs. Dee Worley, where she touched the lives of countless children until her retirement in 2000. Her passion for learning and sharing knowledge blossomed from her own educational journey, as she graduated from Uvalde High School in 1969, where she was proud to be a member of the honor society. Her commitment to education continued as she attended SWTJC, further enriching her life and the lives of others.

A devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Delia embraced her faith with grace and strength, remaining active in her community. She had a profound love for her family, which was evident in every moment she spent with them.

Together they created a network of love and support that enveloped Delia throughout her life.

Preceded in death by her parents, George and Anita Juarez, as well as her brother Luis Juarez Jr., who is survived by his widow Rachel, and her sister Dora Cardoza and her husband Mike Cardoza, Delia's absence will be profoundly felt by all who loved her.
