Delma Puente

Delma Puente of Sabinal passed away on July 31, 2021 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 57.  She was born on October 21, 1963 in Uvalde, Texas to Jesus Rodriguez and Rosalinda Gonzales.

She is survived by her mother, Rosalinda Rodriguez of Sabinal, Texas; daughter, Brianna L. Puente of San Antonio, Texas and Andrea R. Puente of Sabinal, Texas; son, Justin M. Puente of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Connie Garcia and Bel Valdez both of Sabinal, Texas; brother, Daniel Ramirez of Pearsall, Texas; 4 grandchildren, Jayden Puente, Aliyah Puente, Khora Puente and Amelia Viveros; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father and grandparents; Francisco and Argentina Rodriguez and Guadalupe and Andrea Gonzales.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Sabinal, Texas.  A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sabinal, Texas. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Sabinal, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Sammy Garcia, Sergio Garcia, Gil Valdez, Steven Sanchez, Diego Valdez, and Jesse Juarez.
