Delores Chambers

Delores Joanne Chambers of Uvalde passed away on August 16, 2018 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 78. She was born on March 16, 1940 in LaHabra, California to George and Eleanor (Weyland) Merrit. She married Garey Chambers on March 24, 1979 in Reno, Nevada.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years of Uvalde; daughters, Tamara Lynn Briles of San Diego, California and Stacy Jo McKenzie and husband, John of Lodi, California; son in law, Mario Rossi of Modesto, California; grandchildren, Erin Rossi, Dominic Rossi, Katie Gerten, William Briles, and Danielle Briles.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Joy Rossi.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the House of Praise Church in Barksdale, Texas
